Ismail at Isabel

Mirroring similar events facing the country today, the play also exposes the plight of children and the ill effects of war towards them, their families and their environment. The War Correspondent

She, however, refuses to be married off the the Swedish king's heir. When Prussia makes war on Austria over Silesia, Trenck's loyalty is dubious on account of an Austrian family branch. Janischky eagerly convinces the king there is more.

Hasenjagd - Vor lauter Feigheit gibt es kein Erbarmen

This film is based on the actual events referred to as the "Mühlviertler Hasenjagd" (Hare-hunt in the Mühlviertel) which occurred in February 1945 around the Mauthausen concentration camp. 500 Soviet officers form death block 20 attempt to escape, but only 150 of them actually succeed. Following the tally-ho of the SS, a barbaric manhunt begins. Only very few fugitives survive. With a lot of good luck, the two young officers Michail and Nikolai reach the Karner family's farm. Frau Karner persuades her husband to hide the two escapees.

Dongbaek

2021 Movie

The film follows the story of a grumpy elderly man, Soon-cheol, who runs a traditional family restaurant called Dongbaek for three generations. Due to economic difficulties, the restaurant faces closure, and Soon-cheol, along with his son and grandson, struggles to keep it afloat. Things take a dramatic turn when a large food corporation offers to franchise the restaurant, which initially excites the family. However, it’s soon revealed that this offer is linked to the painful history of the Yeosu-Suncheon incident, where Soon-cheol's father was killed by soldiers. The conflict between remembering the past and embracing the future becomes central as Soon-cheol grapples with old wounds.
