Since the ancient times, the Kannagi priestesses have used their swords, or Okatana, to exorcise the creatures known as Aratama that brought chaos upon the world of man. These maidens were known as Tojis, a special task force within the police allowed to have their Okatana on their person because they are government officials, but they mostly consist of school girls who go to one of five training schools. Rescue Heroes is a Canadian/American animated children's television series produced by Nelvana, CBC and CBS. YTV aired the series as a feature of their "Playtime" block, and re-runs of the series were aired internationally. In 2003, Nelvana released Rescue Heroes: The Movie.
The Yang's Saga is a 1985 Hong Kong miniseries based on a series of novels and plays titled Generals of the Yang Clan. The series is a grand production by the television station TVB. The original broadcast period on TVB Jade was from 23 to 28 September 1985, within the night time slot for Enjoy Yourself Tonight.
