In a household where no pets are allowed, a dog, in cahoots with his little boy master, passes himself off as a stuffed animal. Woofy and Anthony have forged a special bond which has led to Anthony taking the dog home and claiming to have won a stuffed animal at school. From that day on, the dog has been living a secret life. But for both, it's a dangerous game in a household where Anthony's mother, as fussy a housekeeper as there has ever been, has laid down the law: no animals allowed!

There is a legend in this world that ghosts descend from the sky on a shooting star and disturb the human world. The naughty boy Na Chan suddenly sees a shooting star that falls from the sky. But it wasn't a shooting star, but a thing called a 'Ghost Ball'. Ghosts must be sealed inside ghost balls because they hide and make mischief in the human world. The person who seals these ghosts is called a Tamer, and the institution that trains them is the Ghost Ball Academy. Na Chan enters the Ghost Ball Academy, summons his partner spirits, and is trained to seal the ghosts through battles. Will Na-chan be an excellent tamer and protect the human world from ghosts?
Animal Mechanicals is a Decode Entertainment television series created by Jeff Rosen and produced by Halifax Film, a DHX Media Company, in association with CBC. Animal Mechanicals Rex, Unicorn, Komodo, Mouse, and Sasquatch, live and play in a place unlike any other; a colorful "snap-together-take-apart" world which can also transform. Things are always popping up, changing shape and most of all presenting challenges to the animal mechanicals. In each adventure the animal mechanicals get their new mission from Island Owl who displays images on her face, which changes to a screen. Each adventure has a variety of small challenges to overcome on the road to accomplishing the mission they are given. The challenges vary requiring the animal mechanicals to use their wide array of unique transformed "Mechana" abilities. The animal mechanicals must decide who should face each challenge.

Not so very long ago, Jasper lived at the South Pole with his family, as is normal for penguins. Suddenly there was a loud cracking noise from behind him and before he knew it, he was sitting on an ice floe, which, propelled by the current, pulled him ever further towards the horizon... until he drifted in to the harbour of a town. He looked for a cool and damp place to sleep and finally found just such a spot next to an old refrigerator, which stood in a forgotten corner at the very back of a junk shop. Since everything was so new and exciting, Jasper decided to stay for a while. However, so that his family would not be worried about him, he sent them regular reports of his experiences and observations in his "new" world. And what could be a better way of doing that, than sending a message in a bottle...

Produced in Canada by Halifax Film, a DHX Media Company, Poko was created by Jeff Rosen, It began production in 2003 and ended in 2006 after three production cycles. Poko is still broadcast in Canada on CBC Television in the Kids' CBC programming block, is still broadcast in Turkey on Yumurcak TV and in Australia by ABC. It is narrated by actor and dancer Cory Bowles. The show was awarded the 2004 Gemini for Best Pre-school Program in 2004 and the Alliance for Children & Television Grand Prize in 2007.
