Parasol Henbe is a Japanese anime series produced and directed by Fujiko Fujio in 1989 which ran for 200 episodes and was translated into many languages - Chinese, English, Hebrew and Spanish amongs them. Abiko also adapted the series into a manga.

Human teacher Max Schneider has unwittingly taken a job at Gravedale High, a school for monsters, near the city of Midtown. Most of Schneider's students are either disruptive, uninterested, and/or unduly self-preoccupied in school, and the class is generally considered disreputable if not uncontrollable (not unlike "the Sweathogs" in Welcome Back, Kotter), the implication being Schneider was hired to teach the class because no monster teacher would take the job.
Three chickens, Ransome, Sims and Jeffries, who live on the Foxearth Farm, a farm based in the English countryside and have the unlikely ability to fly. They each have a different personality; Ransome is the best flyer, Sims is the smartest and Jeffries is the comic relief. They also have the ability to spit grit like machine guns, and drop hard-boiled eggs like they were bombs - which are used to keep the hungry pack of foxes in Foxearth Forest at bay.

Victor and Hugo, Bunglers in Crime is an animated series made by Cosgrove Hall for Thames Television and screened on CITV from 6 September 1991 to 29 December 1992 and is a spin off from Count Duckula. The series centres on the exploits of two bumbling French criminals - the eponymous brothers of the title. Despite referencing the French author Victor Hugo in their names, neither brother was particularly intelligent. The plot of each episode dealt with Victor and Hugo and their English-based business "Naughtiness International" being hired by crime figures to steal something. Victor would come up with a "meticulous plan" to achieve this goal, which was routinely botched by Hugo. The episodes would traditionally end with the brothers imprisoned.
