Kristallnacht

Movie

Police Lieutenant Krützfeld faces a momentous decision on the night of November 9, 1938, in Berlin. Following the assassination of a German attaché in Paris, wrongfully labelled a Jewish terrorist attack by Nazi propaganda, he receives the order to attack the Jewish quarter. As chaos erupts, Krützfeld must choose whether to obey the command or protect the innocent.

Tutur Tinular III (Pendekar Syair Berdarah)

Arya Dwipangga (Baron Hermanto) is disturbing the kingdom of Majapahit in order to wreak revenge on Kamandanu (Sandy Nayoan), while the kingdom assumes that the troublemaker if Mpu Bajil (Wingky Haroen), who is preoccupied with learning the teachings of Aji Segara Geni. As a part of this training, he has already bathed in the blood of seven child descendents of warriors. He is now planning to kidnap the nephew of Kamandanu, Panji (Sawung Sembadha), the child of Dwipangga and Ratih (see Tutur Tinular). A battle ensues between Bajil and Kamandanu, who has been instructed by the king to bring back Bajil’s head.

Workers of All Lands, Unite!

Dedicated to the history of the international labour movement. It consists of a series of episodes that are not narratively connected. Scenes from the history of the French Bourgeois Revolution are interspersed with footage showing Karl Marx calling for the unity of the proletariat across all nations. Inspired by the call to action, the workers rise up to fight for freedom. An escape is organised from the fortress wherein political prisoners are held. The revolutionaries print and distribute leaflets. They are pursued and arrested. But the struggle continues. The film’s visual material serves as an illustration for the captions, which present brief summaries of the history of the revolutionary movement. The film marks the first attempt to create a screen portrait of Karl Marx. Partially lost film.
